The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 (TRD) 3.0 CDCV Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear lift kit engineered specifically for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3-4.25" of front lift and 2" of rear lift on TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels, or 4" of rear lift on non-TRD Sequoias. Every shock absorber in the system carries ICON's CDC Valve for 10 positions of externally adjustable compression damping. This system builds on the Stage 1 3.0 kit by upgrading the rear to 3.0 Series remote reservoir shocks with CDCV.

3.0 Series Damping Front and Rear
The 3.0 Series V.S. CDCV front coilovers and 3.0 Series CDCV rear remote reservoir shocks share the same shock diameter and damping architecture, so front and rear tune remain balanced as the vehicle moves through its travel range. Compared to 2.5 Series shocks, the 3.0 Series units offer 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone, along with increased internal oil volume and greater external surface area for heat dissipation. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of travel, and ICON's vehicle-specific shock length yields up to 40% more travel than stock. The CDC Valve on each shock is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir across 10 compression damping settings, from soft to hard, without tools or removal.
Corrected Geometry with Billet Aluminum Components
The billet aluminum front upper control arms restore corrected front-end geometry at lifted ride heights, with on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment and improved suspension component clearance. The OE ball joint is replaced by the ICON Delta Joint PRO, a serviceable and rebuildable joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) that provides 90 degrees of total articulation for full bump and droop travel without bind. At the rear, CNC-machined 6061 aluminum upper and lower links feature PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased articulation and reduced deflection, with on-vehicle length adjustability via ICON's double adjuster system. Multi-durometer bushings allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing. The billet adjustable rear track bar, also CNC-machined from solid 6061 aluminum and anodized, centers the rear axle after lift and allows fine on-vehicle length adjustment without disassembly.
Dual-Rate Rear Springs and Sway Bar Management
The dual-rate rear coil springs use a softer ride-height spring rate combined with a firmer overload rate, balancing on-road comfort with bottoming resistance under load or off-road impacts. The included sway bar drop brackets minimize sway bar link bind across the full suspension travel range, allowing complete wheel travel without overstressing OE sway bar components.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia owners who want a complete, tunable front-and-rear lift solution with 3.0 Series damping performance at both ends, corrected geometry at lifted heights, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. The TRD-specific spring kit makes it the correct choice for Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro, delivering a level stance front to rear at those submodels' lower lift range.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights also require ICON part 55153 (sold separately). On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends adding the ICON Differential Drop (part 55156, sold separately) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage. Sequoias equipped with the TRD aluminum skid plate require ICON part 55164 (sold separately). Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the lift range.
Common Questions
What is the difference between this Stage 2 (TRD) system and the standard Stage 2 system?
The Stage 2 (TRD) system for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia includes a TRD-specific dual-rate rear coil spring kit (part 51216) that yields 2" of rear lift on Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro, producing a level front-to-rear stance. The standard Stage 2 kit (K53252) uses springs tuned for non-TRD submodels, which produce 4" of rear lift. All other components in both systems are identical.
How many compression damping settings do the shocks offer, and how are they adjusted?
Every shock absorber in this Sequoia Stage 2 system is equipped with an ICON CDC Valve, providing 10 positions of compression damping adjustment from soft to hard. The CDC Valve is an externally mounted, adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the remote reservoir; adjustment is made at the valve body without removing the shock from the vehicle.
Is this system compatible with a Sequoia that has Adaptive Variable Suspension or the air-leveling rear suspension?
This Stage 2 3.0 CDCV system for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights (a separate feature from the air suspension) can use this system but require the addition of ICON part 55153, sold separately.
Does this system require a differential drop on 4WD models?
On 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia 4WD models that do not have the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends installing the ICON Differential Drop (part 55156, sold separately) or using Toyota TRD axles to prevent potential front axle damage at lifted ride heights. This recommendation does not apply to TRD Pro models.
Does installation require any recalibration of vehicle safety systems?
Yes. Installing this suspension system on the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after the install is complete. This recalibration is not included with the kit and should be performed by a qualified technician using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
