The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 Suspension System for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 (2WD and 4WD) pairs vehicle-specific 2.5" V.S. internal-reservoir coilovers up front with 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks and 1.5" dual-rate coil springs, delivering 0–1.5" of adjustable front lift and 1.5" of rear lift on a 100% bolt-on platform. The system is engineered specifically for the 2019-and-later Ram 1500 frame and chassis, and is not interchangeable with earlier or Classic-body trucks.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Front Coilover Performance Built for This Platform

The 2.5" V.S. internal-reservoir coilovers use an internal reservoir to manage heat during sustained off-road use, keeping damping consistent when trail conditions demand repeated compression cycles. Height adjustability across the full 0–1.5" range means the front ride height can be dialed in to match a specific wheel-and-tire combination without swapping springs. ICON's vehicle-specific valving for the 2019-and-later Ram 1500 frame accounts for the platform's revised chassis rigidity and reduced curb weight, so the tune reflects how this truck actually loads the suspension rather than carrying over settings from an earlier generation.

Rear Balance Through Dual-Rate Springs and Monotube Shocks

The 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks are paired with 1.5" lift dual-rate coil springs that change spring rate progressively through travel. That dual-rate behavior keeps the unladen truck from riding harshly on pavement while still providing resistance when the suspension compresses fully under load or over rough terrain. The monotube design separates oil and gas into distinct chambers, which reduces aeration and keeps damping force predictable across a wider range of conditions than a twin-tube shock of comparable size.

Rebuildable, Bolt-On Construction

Every shock in the Stage 2 system is fully rebuildable and revalvable, so worn seals or a change in driving style can be addressed without replacing the entire unit. CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components keep unsprung weight in check and resist corrosion. Installation requires no drilling, cutting, or welding; all mounting points use factory locations.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 2 system suits 2019–2026 Ram 1500 owners (2WD or 4WD) who want improved wheel travel, on- and off-road damping control, and up to 1.5" of adjustable front lift to run larger tires. OEM wheels and tires are retained at any setting within the lift range.

This system does not fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models, Ram 1500 TRX, Ram 1500 RHO, or any Ram 1500 equipped with factory air ride suspension. It is not rated for EcoDiesel-equipped trucks. Vehicles with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Ram 1500 Rebel front lift is limited to 0–0.75" over stock with this system.

Common Questions

Does this system fit the Ram 1500 Classic?

The ICON Stage 2 system for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 does not fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models. The Classic uses a different body and frame architecture; a separate ICON application would be required for that truck.

Will it work with factory air ride suspension?

This Stage 2 system is not compatible with factory air ride equipped Ram 1500 trucks. Buyers with the air ride option will need to confirm compatibility with a suspension specialist before ordering.

What lift height does the Rebel get with this system?

On the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 Rebel, the Stage 2 front coilovers provide a lift range of 0–0.75" over stock rather than the full 0–1.5" available on non-Rebel trims. Rear lift on the Rebel is 1" rather than 1.5".

Is ADAS recalibration required after installation?

Yes. The ICON Stage 2 system requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation on any 2019–2026 Ram 1500 equipped with those systems. This is a dealer or shop procedure and is not included with the kit.

What is included in the Stage 2 kit?

The Stage 2 system includes one 2.5" V.S. internal-reservoir front coilover kit (with ICON coil springs), one rear 1.5" dual-rate coil spring kit, and two 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks. No additional lift components are required for a complete front-and-rear installation on a stock-equipped truck.

Can the shocks be rebuilt or revalved later?

All shocks in the ICON Stage 2 system are fully rebuildable and revalvable. Worn seals or a change in desired damping characteristics can be addressed by an ICON-authorized service center without replacing the entire shock body.
