The ICON Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System is a bolt-in front and rear suspension upgrade for 2017–2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, delivering 2.5 VS Series remote reservoir coilovers up front and 2.5 VS Internal Reservoir rear shocks alongside an adjustable track bar kit. Front lift range varies by model year and Tremor package configuration; see application notes below before ordering.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Bolt-In Fit, No Fabrication Required

The front coilover assembly drops into the factory coil bucket location without cutting or welding, which keeps the installation straightforward for a qualified shop and preserves the truck's structural geometry. Removal of the coil centering cup in the factory coil bucket is required before installation. The coilover's ride height collar is adjustable, so lift height can be dialed in within the range appropriate for the truck's year and configuration rather than being fixed at one setting.

VS Series Damping with Serviceable Construction

The 2.5 VS Series remote reservoir coilovers use vehicle-specific shock valving, Eibach coil springs guaranteed against sagging or breakage, and FK Rod End bearings for reduced deflection and extended service life. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" shafts are paired with one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders on the rear shocks for consistent finish and corrosion resistance. The front coilovers and rear shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the investment can be serviced rather than replaced when wear or a valving change is needed.

Track Bar and Secondary Shock Provisions

The included adjustable track bar kit (part 64038) addresses front-end geometry at the lifted ride height. The coilover conversion design also allows for the addition of a secondary front shock; contact ICON directly for secondary shock options. Rear shocks are compatible with 0–3" of rear lift over stock.

Features

  • Bolt-in front coilover conversion: fits OEM coil bucket location; coil centering cup removal required
  • Eibach coil springs: guaranteed for life against sagging or breakage
  • FK Rod End bearings: extended longevity and minimal deflection
  • Vehicle-specific valving: front coilovers tuned for F-250/F-350 Super Duty dynamics
  • Fully rebuildable and revalveable shocks: front and rear
  • Adjustable track bar kit included: corrects front-end geometry at lifted height

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits owners of 2017–2023 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty trucks in 4WD configuration who want a bolt-in coilover conversion with adjustable ride height, improved damping, and a corrected front track bar. It is appropriate whether the primary use is overlanding, towing on rough roads, or daily driving on varied terrain.

This system does not fit 2024 or newer Super Duty models, 2WD trucks, or F-350/F-450 Cab and Chassis configurations. Trucks equipped with the Tremor package produce a reduced front lift range compared to non-Tremor trucks of the same year. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. A brake line kit (part 61111) is not included and may be needed if factory steel lines cannot be safely repositioned. Installer must verify adequate clearance between the front passenger-side wiring harness and the coilover reservoir to prevent chafing.

Common Questions

Does this system fit my 2020 F-250 with the Tremor package?

The Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System does fit 2020–2022 Super Duty trucks equipped with the Tremor package, but the front lift range for Tremor-equipped trucks is 2.25–2.75" over stock rather than the 3.25–3.75" range that non-Tremor 2020–2022 trucks achieve. Confirm your truck's configuration before ordering.

What is included in the system?

The Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System includes one front 2.5 VS Series remote reservoir bolt-in coilover conversion kit (part 61720), one adjustable track bar kit (part 64038), and one pair of 2.5 VS Internal Reservoir rear shocks (part 37605P). A brake line kit and secondary front shocks are not included; both are available separately.

Are the shocks rebuildable, or do they need to be replaced when worn?

The front coilovers and rear shocks in this Stage 2 system are fully rebuildable and revalveable. A qualified suspension shop can service or retune the damping without replacing the entire unit, extending the useful life of the investment.

Is ADAS recalibration required after installation?

Yes. The Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems after installation. This applies to any equipped safety or driver-assist features that rely on sensors whose geometry changes with ride height. Plan for this step when scheduling the installation.

Will this system work with OEM wheels and tires?

Yes, the Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System is confirmed compatible with OEM wheels and tires. For aftermarket fitment, ICON's own data recommends 17x8.5" wheels with 5.00" backspace, 18x9" with 5.25" backspace, or 20x9" with 5.25" backspace, paired with tires up to 35x12.50"; larger tires may require fender trimming.
