The ICON Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System is a bolt-in front and rear suspension upgrade for 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD trucks, delivering 4–5.5 inches of ride-height-adjustable lift across seven matched components. Springs in this system are rated for diesel-engine vehicles only.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Height Adjustability Without Compromise
The 2.5 VS coilover conversion mounts in the factory coil bucket location, so no cutting or custom fabrication is required at the front of the truck. Ride height is adjustable across the full 4–5.5 inch range after installation, letting the owner dial in stance for load, terrain, or tire size without swapping components. The coilover design also opens the door to adding a secondary shock at the front for additional damping when conditions demand it.
Components Built to Stay in Service
Front and rear shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, which matters on a work or expedition truck that accumulates real miles. Coilover shock bodies are CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and use 7/8-inch shafts. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks feature one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders that resist corrosion and maintain a consistent finish over time. Eibach coil springs carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage. FK rod end bearings are used at the adjustable track bar for extended service life and minimal deflection under load.
Vehicle-Specific Valving and Geometry Correction
Shock valving is calibrated specifically for the F-250/F-350 platform, addressing the weight and dynamics of a heavy-duty truck rather than applying a generic tune. The system includes a radius arm drop kit and an adjustable track bar with FK rod end to correct front geometry at lift height, and a 5-inch block kit with matching U-bolts at the rear. Decreased body roll and improved on- and off-road ride dynamics are the stated outcomes of the complete system working together.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system is designed for 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with 4WD that need 4–5.5 inches of lift, particularly diesel-powered trucks used for overlanding, towing, or mixed on- and off-road driving where ride quality and long-term serviceability matter.
The coil springs in this system are rated for diesel engines only and are not suitable for gas-engine F-250/F-350 trucks. This system does not fit 2WD Super Duty trucks, and it does not cover model years before 2011 or after 2016 in this configuration. Installation requires removal of the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket.
Common Questions
Will this system work on a gas-engine F-250 or F-350?
No. The coil springs included in this Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System are rated for diesel engines only. A gas-engine 2011–2016 Ford F-250 or F-350 requires a different spring specification and is not compatible with this kit as configured.
Does this system fit 2WD Super Duty trucks?
No. This ICON Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System is designed for 4WD-equipped 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks only. It does not fit 2WD variants of the Super Duty platform.
What does the installation require beyond the kit itself?
Installation of this coilover conversion system requires removal of the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket at the front of the truck. An installation guide is included. Compatible add-on tools (spanner wrenches, a bump steer bracket kit) are sold separately.
Can OEM wheels and tires be used after installing this system?
Yes. OEM wheels and tires are confirmed compatible with this ICON Stage 2 system. For aftermarket fitments, ICON recommends 17x8.5-inch wheels with 5.00-inch backspace, 18x9-inch or 20x9-inch wheels with 5.25-inch backspace, and 35x12.50-inch tires. Larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming.
Are the shocks rebuildable after heavy use?
Yes. Both the front coilovers and the rear 2.5 VS IR shocks included in this system are fully rebuildable and revalveable, which extends service life on trucks that see consistent off-road or high-mileage use rather than requiring full shock replacement.
