The ICON Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System is a bolt-in front and rear suspension upgrade for 2008–2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD trucks, delivering 4–5.5 inches of adjustable ride height alongside improved on- and off-road dynamics. The system ships as a complete, vehicle-specific kit and replaces the factory coil arrangement with ICON's 2.5 Series aluminum coilover components front and rear.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Height Adjustability Without Compromise

The front coilovers are ride-height adjustable across the full 4–5.5 inch lift range, so owners can dial in the stance that suits their load, tire size, or terrain without swapping springs. Because the adjustment is built into the coilover collar rather than relying on spacers, ride quality and geometry are maintained at every setting rather than degraded by it.

2.5 Series Aluminum Construction Front and Rear

Front coilover shock bodies are CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and built around 7/8 inch shafts. The rear 2.5 Series shocks use one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders, which resist corrosion and hold a consistent finish over years of use in mud, water, and road salt. All shocks in the system are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the investment survives worn seals or a change in driving style without requiring full replacement.

Vehicle-Specific Components Throughout

Vehicle-specific shock valving is calibrated for the F-250/F-350 platform rather than adapted from a universal tune. The included adjustable track bar uses FK rod end bearings for extended service life and minimal deflection under load. Eibach coil springs are guaranteed against sagging or breakage. The front coilover design also allows for the addition of a secondary shock when greater damping capacity is needed.

Features

  • Bolt-in fitment: installs in the OEM coil bucket location; coil centering cup removal required
  • Adjustable lift range: 4–5.5 inches of ride height adjustment at the front coilover collar
  • 2.5 Series rear shocks: one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders, fully rebuildable and revalveable
  • Eibach coil springs: lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage; rated for diesel engines
  • FK rod end track bar: adjustable, with FK rod end bearings for longevity and minimal deflection
  • Secondary shock provision: coilover conversion allows addition of a secondary front shock

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits owners of 2008–2010 Ford F-250 or F-350 trucks with 4WD who want a complete, adjustable-height coilover suspension upgrade in the 4–5.5 inch lift range. The Eibach springs are rated for diesel-engine vehicles.

This system is not compatible with gasoline-engine F-250/F-350 applications, as the springs are rated for diesel engines only. It does not fit 2WD configurations, and it does not fit F-250/F-350 model years outside the 2008–2010 range without confirming separate fitment data. Installation requires removal of the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket.

Common Questions

Does this system work with the factory wheels and tires?

The ICON Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System for 2008–2010 Ford F-250/F-350 is confirmed compatible with OEM wheels and tires. Aftermarket wheels are recommended in 17x8.5, 18x9, or 20x9 sizes with specific backspace and offset figures; tires up to 35x12.50 inches are recommended, with larger sizes potentially requiring fender trimming.

Are the shocks serviceable after installation?

All shocks in this Stage 2 system are fully rebuildable and revalveable. That means worn seals or a desired change in damping tune can be addressed by rebuilding the existing shocks rather than replacing the entire unit, extending the usable life of the system.

Is this system compatible with gasoline-engine Super Duty trucks?

The Eibach coil springs included in this Stage 2 Coilover Conversion System are rated for diesel engines only. Gasoline-engine F-250 and F-350 applications are not a confirmed fit for this specific kit; a different spring rate or system would be required for gas-powered trucks.

What does installation require beyond the included components?

This coilover conversion system requires removal of the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket before installation. The system ships in multiple boxes, and an installation guide is available.
