The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 3.0 CDXS Suspension System is a complete eight-component lift kit engineered specifically for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia equipped with the TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro package, delivering 3-4.25" of front lift and 2" of rear lift over stock for a level stance and fitment of up to 35" tires. This system builds on the Stage 1 3.0 platform by adding 3.0 Series remote reservoir rear shocks with CDXS compression damping adjustment, matching the front coilovers for balanced, tunable performance front to rear.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
3.0 Series Damping Where It Counts
The front coilovers and rear shocks in this system are both ICON V.S. 3.0 Series units with remote reservoirs and CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) valves. Compared to 2.5 Series shocks, the 3.0 Series offers 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone, along with increased internal oil volume and greater external surface area for heat dissipation. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of shock travel, so hard hits and unexpected obstacles stay manageable rather than sending the chassis into the bump stops. CDXS provides 10 detented settings each for independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment, letting the driver dial in handling response and overall aggressiveness separately. Vehicle-specific shock lengths yield up to 40% more travel than stock.
Corrected Geometry with the Tubular UCA and Delta Joint PRO
The included ICON tubular upper control arm kit corrects front-end geometry, adds caster, and improves suspension component clearance for the lifted Sequoia. The OE ball joint is replaced by ICON's serviceable and rebuildable Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700), which provides 90 degrees of total articulation and allows full bump and droop travel without bind. The sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links through the full range of wheel travel without overstressing factory components.
Rear End: Links, Springs, and Track Bar
Rear upper and lower links are fabricated from 1-3/4 x .313 wall DOM tubing with a multi-stage black powder coat finish. PTFE-lined FK rod ends increase articulation and reduce deflection; multi-durometer bushings allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing. The dual-rate rear coil springs use a softer ride-height rate and a firmer overload rate. On TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro Sequoias these springs deliver 2" of rear lift over stock, leveling the stance front to rear. The CNC-machined 6061 aluminum billet adjustable track bar centers the rear axle and can be fine-tuned on the vehicle without removal or disassembly.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system is built for 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia owners who have the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro and want a tunable, complete 3.0 Series suspension upgrade with 3-4.25" of front lift, 2" of rear lift, corrected geometry, and the ability to run up to 35" tires on and off road.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require an additional ICON part (55153) not included in this kit. On 4WD models without the TRD Pro package, ICON recommends adding an ICON Differential Drop (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage; that part is not included. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate require an additional spacer kit (part 55164), sold separately. For non-TRD Sequoias seeking 4" of rear lift, see kit K53252TD.
Common Questions
What lift height does this system provide on a TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro Sequoia?
On a 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro, this ICON Stage 2 3.0 CDXS system provides a front lift range of 1-2.25" over stock and 2" of rear lift over stock. The 3-4.25" front lift figure applies to non-TRD Sequoia submodels. Lift heights are based on a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the lift range.
Is this system compatible with Sequoias that have air suspension or AVS?
No. This ICON Stage 2 3.0 CDXS system is not compatible with 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers with those factory systems should not purchase this kit.
What does CDXS compression damping adjustment do?
CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) controls fluid flow under compression with independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force. Each adjustment knob on the front coilovers and rear shocks in this system has 10 detented settings, allowing the driver to tune handling response and overall aggressiveness separately without tools beyond the adjustment knobs.
Are there any additional parts required for a complete installation?
Several add-ons may be required depending on the specific Sequoia. Vehicles with automatic leveling headlights need ICON part 55153. 4WD models without the TRD Pro package should add an ICON Differential Drop (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to protect the front axle. Sequoias with the factory TRD aluminum skid plate require spacer kit part 55164. ADAS recalibration by a qualified shop is required after installation. None of these are included in this kit.
Are the shocks in this system rebuildable?
Yes. All ICON shock absorbers in this Stage 2 3.0 CDXS system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The Delta Joint PRO in the tubular upper control arms is also serviceable and rebuildable.
