The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 12 is a complete 2–3.5" lift suspension system for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra, and the first ICON stage to equip both the front coilovers and rear shocks with Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology for active, sensor-driven damping adjustment. The system ships as five component kits covering the full vehicle: front coilovers, tubular upper control arms, sway bar drop brackets, rear shocks, and the IIC install kit.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Active Damping Front and Rear

ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) reads G-forces and chassis movement through onboard sensors, then makes near-instant compression damping changes at each individual shock via the CDEV. Once configured through the IIC app, the system operates without driver input. Manual adjustment is also available wirelessly through the app. Note that the IIC app requires an iOS device.

More Travel, Corrected Geometry

The VS 2.5 Series front coilovers use a 2.5" shock body and increased piston area to deliver up to 40% more front wheel travel than stock. Remote reservoirs increase oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting damper fade under sustained hard use. Lift height adjustability runs 2–3.5" over stock for most i-Force gasoline Tundra sub-models when used with the included tubular upper control arms.

The tubular upper control arm kit corrects front-end geometry, adds caster, and improves suspension component clearance. The ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. Included sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links across the full travel range.

Balanced Rear Performance

The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks with CDEV are tuned specifically for the 2022–2026 Tundra and paired to the front coilovers for balanced front-to-rear damping. Remote reservoirs maintain consistent damping at cooler operating temperatures during heavy use. An internal Bump Zone adds 20% additional damping force at the end of travel to control hard bottom-outs. All ICON shock absorbers in this system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable.

Features

  • CDEV front and rear: active electronic compression damping on all four corners via ICON Intelligent Control
  • VS 2.5 Series front coilovers: remote reservoir, 2.5" shock body, up to 40% more front travel over stock
  • Tubular UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected geometry, added caster, 90° articulation, serviceable and rebuildable
  • Sway bar drop brackets: reduce OE sway bar link bind through full suspension travel
  • 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks: remote reservoir, CDEV, internal Bump Zone for bottom-out control
  • Fully rebuildable: all shocks in the system can be rebuilt and retuned

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 12 system suits 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra owners who want active electronic damping adjustment, a 2–3.5" front lift (varies by sub-model), corrected front-end geometry, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. It is designed for 4WD models and fits both on-road and off-road use.

This system is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends adding the ICON Differential Drop Kit (sold separately) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage; this is not required for TRD Pro. If the vehicle has a TRD aluminum skid plate, part number 55164 is also required (sold separately). ADAS recalibration is required after installation. The IIC app requires an iOS device. Lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the lift range.

Common Questions

Does the Stage 12 system work with the factory Load-Leveling Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension?

The ICON Stage 12 suspension system for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers should confirm which suspension their Tundra trim carries before ordering.

Do 4WD Tundra owners need any additional parts for installation?

On 4WD Tundra models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends adding the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156, sold separately) or Toyota TRD axles to prevent potential front axle damage. TRD Pro models do not require the differential drop. If the vehicle has a TRD aluminum skid plate, a skid plate spacer kit (part 55164, sold separately) is also required.

How much front lift does the Stage 12 provide on a TRD Pro or hybrid Tundra?

Front lift range varies by sub-model. Most i-Force gasoline Tundra sub-models achieve 2–3.5" of front lift over stock. The i-Force MAX hybrid achieves 2–3". The TRD Pro achieves 0–1.5". The SR5 with TRD Sport Suspension achieves 3–4.5". All figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the lift range.

What app and device are required to use ICON Intelligent Control?

The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) system is configured and adjusted through the IIC app, which requires an iOS-operated device. Once the system is configured, it operates autonomously without driver input, using onboard sensors to monitor G-forces and chassis movement and make near-instant damping adjustments.

Are the shocks in this system rebuildable?

All ICON shock absorbers included in the Stage 12 system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The Delta Joint PRO in the upper control arms is also serviceable and rebuildable, allowing long-term maintenance without full component replacement.
