The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 11 Suspension System is a complete front and rear suspension upgrade for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, and the first ICON stage to equip both the 2.5 Series front coilovers and rear shocks with the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV). Most Sequoia submodels gain 3-4.5" of front lift and 4" of rear lift over stock; Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro gain 1-2.5" of front lift and 2" of rear lift over stock.

Active Damping on All Four Corners
ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) uses onboard sensors to monitor G-forces and chassis movement, then makes near-instantaneous compression damping changes through the CDEV at each individual shock. The result is a suspension that adapts to terrain without driver input once configured. The IIC app (iOS required) lets you set preferences wirelessly from your phone; after that, the system manages itself. Having active electronic damping at both ends of the vehicle means the front and rear suspension respond in a balanced, coordinated way rather than independently, which matters on uneven terrain where one axle loads before the other.
2.5 Series Coilovers and Rear Shocks with Remote Reservoirs
The 2.5 Series front coilovers use a larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area compared to stock components, yielding up to 40% more wheel travel over stock. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the overheating and cavitation that cause damper fade under sustained hard use. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks include an internal Bump Zone that adds 20% of damping force at the end of the stroke to control hard bottom-outs. All ICON shock absorbers in this system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable.
Billet Upper Control Arms and Corrected Geometry
The included billet aluminum upper control arms (UCAs) correct front-end geometry and provide on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment for improved drivability at the lifted height. The UCAs replace the OEM ball joint with the ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700), which provides 90 degrees of total articulation and allows full bump and droop travel without bind. Included sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OEM sway bar links through the full range of suspension travel, letting the suspension move freely without overstressing stock components.
Features
- CDEV front and rear: active compression damping adjustment on all four corners via the IIC app and onboard sensors
- 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers: up to 40% more front wheel travel over stock with improved heat dissipation
- Billet aluminum UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected geometry, on-vehicle caster/camber adjustment, and 90° articulation (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700)
- Dual-rate TRD rear coil springs: softer ride-height rate with firmer overload rate; 4" rear lift on non-TRD or 2" on TRD Off-Road/TRD Pro submodels
- Sway bar drop brackets: reduce OEM sway bar link bind through full wheel travel
- Fully rebuildable shocks: all ICON shock absorbers in this system can be rebuilt and retuned

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia owners who want active electronically controlled damping at all four corners, a meaningful lift for 35" tire fitment, and corrected front geometry from billet UCAs, whether the primary use is daily driving, overlanding, or mixed on- and off-road use. Lift heights are stated for a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the lift range.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). The IIC app requires an iOS device. Four-wheel-drive Sequoias without the TRD Off-Road package require the ICON Differential Drop Kit (Part# 55156) or Toyota TRD axles (Part# 434200C020 driver / 434100C020 passenger) to avoid front axle damage; this kit does not include those components. Sequoias equipped with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require Part# 55164. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Lift heights for TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels differ from those stated for standard submodels; buyers wanting shorter rear ride heights on any submodel should consider kit K53241 instead.
Common Questions
Does this system work on every 2023-2026 Sequoia trim level?
The ICON Stage 11 system fits all 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia submodels except those equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Lift heights differ by trim: most submodels gain 3-4.5" front and 4" rear over stock, while TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels gain 1-2.5" front and 2" rear over stock.
What is CDEV and how does ICON Intelligent Control work?
The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is a valve built into each shock that adjusts compression damping electronically. ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) uses onboard sensors to read G-forces and chassis movement, then makes near-instantaneous damping changes at each corner automatically. The IIC app (iOS required) lets you configure preferences wirelessly; after setup the system operates without driver input.
Do 4WD Sequoias need any additional parts not included in this kit?
Four-wheel-drive Sequoias without the TRD Off-Road package require either the ICON Differential Drop Kit (Part# 55156) or Toyota TRD axles (Part# 434200C020 driver / 434100C020 passenger) to prevent front axle damage; this Stage 11 kit does not include those components. TRD Pro models do not require the differential drop. Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate additionally require Part# 55164.
Is ADAS recalibration required after installing this suspension system?
Yes. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibration is required after installing the ICON Stage 11 Suspension System on the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia. This is a post-installation step and is not performed by the kit itself; a qualified shop with the appropriate calibration equipment should complete this before the vehicle is driven normally.
