The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 11 is a complete suspension system for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3–4.5" of front lift and 2" of rear lift on non-TRD-equipped vehicles, with active electronic compression damping on every shock via ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology. Six component kits ship together: VS 2.5 Series remote reservoir CDEV front coilovers, tubular upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, sway bar drop brackets, 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir CDEV rear shocks, a dual-rate rear coil spring kit, and the ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) install kit.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Active Damping, Front and Rear

The CDEV at each shock allows the ICON Intelligent Control system to read G-forces and chassis movement through onboard sensors and make near-instant compression damping adjustments without driver input. When conditions change, the system responds corner by corner rather than applying a single global setting. Drivers can also set preferences and adjust damping wirelessly through the IIC app. Note: the IIC app requires an iOS-operated device.

Increased Travel and Thermal Headroom

The 2.5 Series front coilovers use a larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area compared to stock components, yielding up to 40% more front suspension travel over stock. Remote reservoirs on both the front coilovers and rear shocks increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting damper fade under sustained hard use. The rear 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks also include an internal Bump Zone that adds 20% of damping force at the end of travel to control hard bottom-outs.

Corrected Geometry and Reduced Bind

The included tubular upper control arms correct front-end geometry, add caster, and improve suspension component clearance. The ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint and allows full bump and droop travel without bind. It is serviceable and rebuildable, with 90 degrees of total articulation. The included sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links across the full suspension travel range, allowing complete wheel travel without overstressing stock components.

Features

  • CDEV front coilovers: VS 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers with active electronic compression damping, 3–4.5" front lift adjustability over stock
  • Tubular UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected caster and geometry, 90° articulation, serviceable and rebuildable, U.S. Pat. 10,731,700
  • CDEV rear shocks: 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks with active electronic damping and internal Bump Zone
  • Dual-rate rear coil springs: softer ride-height rate with firmer overload rate; 2" rear lift on non-TRD Sequoia, 0" on TRD Off-Road package

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 11 system suits 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on 4WD models who want active electronic damping control, maximum front suspension travel, and the ability to run up to 35" tires with corrected alignment geometry. It is appropriate for both non-TRD and TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro submodels, with lift heights varying by trim as noted above.

This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). ADAS recalibration is required after installation. On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles are recommended to prevent front axle damage; TRD Pro models do not require this step. Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require part 55164. If taller rear ride heights are needed on TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro submodels, consider kit K53241TS instead. The IIC app requires an iOS device.

Common Questions

Does this system work on Sequoias with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro?

The Stage 11 system is compatible with TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro Sequoias, but the lift heights differ from standard submodels. TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro vehicles will see 1–2.5" of front lift over stock and 0" of rear lift rather than the 3–4.5" front and 2" rear figures that apply to non-TRD trims. Owners wanting taller rear lift on those submodels should consider kit K53241TS.

Is this system compatible with Sequoias that have air suspension or AVS?

The ICON Stage 11 system for the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers should confirm which suspension package their specific vehicle has before purchasing.

What does CDEV and ICON Intelligent Control actually do during driving?

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) fitted to each shock in this Stage 11 system allows the ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) to monitor G-forces and chassis movement through onboard sensors and make near-instant, corner-by-corner compression damping adjustments automatically. Drivers can also set preferences and adjust settings wirelessly via the IIC app, which requires an iOS device. Once configured, the system operates without driver input.

Do I need any additional parts for a 4WD Sequoia without the TRD Off-Road package?

On 4WD Sequoias without the TRD Off-Road package, the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles (driver part 434200C020, passenger part 434100C020) are recommended alongside this Stage 11 system to prevent potential front axle damage. This additional step is not required on TRD Pro models. Sequoias fitted with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require part 55164.

Does installation require any recalibration of vehicle safety systems?

Yes. Installing the ICON Stage 11 suspension system on the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia requires recalibration of the vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation is complete. This recalibration should be performed by a qualified technician.
