The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 10 complete suspension system is designed specifically for the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3–4.5" of front lift over stock on standard-equipped models and 2" of rear lift on non-TRD Sequoias, with 10-setting CDC Valve compression damping adjustment on every shock absorber. The system builds on Stage 9 by adding billet aluminum rear upper and lower links, a billet adjustable rear track bar, and a tubular front upper control arm kit with ICON's Delta Joint PRO ball joint. Most Sequoia submodels achieve 3–4.5" of front lift; models equipped with the TRD Off-Road package achieve 1–2.5" of front lift and remain at stock rear height.

Adjustable Damping From Front to Rear

The 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers and the 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks are each equipped with ICON's CDC Valve. This externally adjustable valve restricts oil flow into the reservoir across 10 discrete compression damping settings, from soft to hard, without removing the shock from the vehicle. That range lets a Sequoia owner run a compliant highway tune on a loaded overlanding trip and dial in a firmer setting for technical terrain, using the same hardware.

Remote Reservoirs and Increased Travel

The 2.5 Series front coilovers use a larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area compared to stock components, yielding up to 40% more wheel travel over stock. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the damper fade that results from overheating and cavitation under sustained hard use. The rear 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks share the same remote reservoir design and add an internal Bump Zone that generates an additional 20% of damping force at the end of the stroke to control hard bottom-outs.

Corrected Geometry and Rear Articulation

The included tubular upper control arms correct front-end geometry, add caster, and improve suspension component clearance. The Delta Joint PRO is a serviceable, rebuildable replacement for the OE ball joint that provides 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. At the rear, tubular upper and lower links made from 1-3/4" x .313-wall DOM tubing with a multi-stage black powder coat finish use PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased articulation and length adjustability, and multi-durometer bushings for maintenance-free, noise-free operation. The billet 6061 aluminum adjustable rear track bar, anodized to match the billet links, allows on-vehicle fine adjustment of track bar length to properly center the rear axle after the lift is installed.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 10 system suits 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on standard, TRD Off-Road, or TRD Pro trim who want a complete, tunable suspension upgrade with corrected geometry, increased wheel travel, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. It is compatible with 4WD models, though non-TRD Pro 4WD owners should add ICON's differential drop kit or Toyota TRD axles to avoid front axle stress.

This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require the addition of part number 55153. Vehicles with the TRD aluminum skid plate require part number 55164. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Owners wanting taller rear ride heights on TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro models should consider kit K53240TS instead. Lift heights are based on a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the achieved lift range.

Common Questions

What is included in the Stage 10 system?

The ICON Stage 10 system for the 2023–2026 Sequoia includes 2.5 VS CDCV remote reservoir front coilovers, tubular upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a sway bar drop kit, tubular rear upper and lower links, dual-rate rear coil springs, 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir rear shocks, and a billet adjustable rear track bar. These components together address the front and rear suspension on both standard and TRD-equipped Sequoias.

How much lift does this system provide on a TRD Off-Road Sequoia?

On a Sequoia equipped with the TRD Off-Road package, the Stage 10 system provides 1–2.5" of front lift over stock and 0" of rear lift, keeping the rear at stock height. Standard (non-TRD) Sequoias achieve 3–4.5" of front lift and 2" of rear lift. Owners wanting taller rear lift on TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro models should consider kit K53240TS.

Is this system compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension or air suspension?

The Stage 10 system for the 2023–2026 Sequoia is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles. It is also not compatible with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require the separate addition of part number 55153 alongside this kit.

What is the CDC Valve and how is it adjusted?

The CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve on each shock absorber in the Stage 10 system that restricts oil flow into the remote reservoir, creating 10 levels of compression damping force from soft to hard. Adjustment is made externally without removing the shock from the vehicle, allowing the driver to tune ride feel for road or off-road conditions.

Do 4WD Sequoias need any additional parts?

For 4WD Sequoia models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends adding the ICON differential drop kit (part 55156) or using Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage. TRD Pro models do not require the differential drop. Vehicles with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require part number 55164.
