Ram redesigned the 1500 for 2019 with an all-new frame and revised chassis geometry, which required ICON to develop new rear shock valving and updated front coilover tuning specific to this generation. The result is a system calibrated to the actual suspension kinematics of this truck rather than adapted from an earlier application. Buyers who have already upgraded a previous-generation Ram will notice the difference in how precisely the tune matches the platform.

Adjustable Lift and Larger Tire Clearance

The front 2.5" coilovers are height-adjustable from 0 to 1.5 inches of lift over stock, giving owners the flexibility to run OEM wheels and tires at the lower end or step up to more aggressive fitments at the higher end. ICON's own application data confirms OEM wheels and tires fit at any setting; recommended aftermarket sizing is an 18x9 or 20x9 wheel at 0mm offset with 5.00" backspace, paired with a 33x11.50" tire. Tires larger than 33" may require fender trimming.
