Tuned for the Hilux Chassis

ICON engineered the shock tune specifically around the Hilux's stiffer chassis, which demands more robust damping than a typical truck platform. The front 2.5" coilovers pair an internal reservoir (for sustained heat dissipation during extended off-road use) with ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs chosen for their progressive feel across the full range of travel. The result is a front end that tracks predictably whether the bed is loaded or empty.

Adjustable Lift, Balanced Front to Rear

The front coilovers adjust from 0–3" of lift, allowing the Hilux to be leveled front-to-rear or raised to clear larger tires. ICON notes that coilover heights are calibrated for a stock-equipped vehicle; heavier builds can specify a 700 lb/in expedition coil spring. The rear 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube shocks are tuned to match the front's performance envelope, and optional rear springs can add up to 2" of additional rear lift height to keep pace with a full 3" front adjustment.

Structural components are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum. The coilover shock body carries a corrosion-resistant CAD plating, and FK rod end bearings on the 7/8" shaft minimize deflection and extend service life. The rear shocks run a 5/8" shaft. All shocks are fully serviceable.
