The ICON Stage 1 Suspension System for the 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2WD delivers 0–2.63 inches of adjustable lift height through a fully bolt-on front coilover and rear shock package engineered to increase wheel travel and damping performance over stock, without changing towing capacity. The system fits 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2WD trucks and is confirmed compatible with OEM wheels and tires.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

More Travel, Better Control

The front coilover kit uses a 2.5-inch diameter shock body with an internal reservoir, which dissipates heat during extended off-road use and maintains consistent damping when the suspension is working hardest. Paired with ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs, the front end delivers progressive resistance through the full range of travel, so the truck responds predictably whether you're on pavement or dirt. The 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks carry vehicle-specific valving tuned to balance front-to-rear damping, keeping the truck composed under load and over rough terrain.

Adjustable Lift, No Fabrication

Height adjustment across the full 0–2.63-inch range is built into the coilover design, letting you dial in ride height to clear larger tires without cutting, drilling, or welding. ICON confirms OEM wheels and tires fit at any point in the adjustment range. For drivers who want to step up, ICON's own recommended aftermarket fitments are 17x8.5-inch wheels with 5.00-inch backspace / 6mm offset, 18x9-inch with 5.25-inch backspace / 6mm offset, or 20x9-inch with 5.625-inch backspace / 16mm offset. Tires up to 33x11.50 inches are recommended; larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming or other modifications.

Built to Last and Service

Structural components are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum. The coilover shock body is CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and runs a 7/8-inch shaft; the rear shocks use a 5/8-inch polished shaft. FK rod end bearings at the lower bar pin are specified for longevity and minimal deflection under load. Per Application Note #55, all shocks in this system are fully serviceable, meaning internal components can be rebuilt or replaced rather than requiring full shock replacement when the units eventually wear.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2WD owners who want improved off-road capability, a modest lift of up to 2.63 inches, and a bolt-on installation that preserves OEM towing capacity.

This system does not fit 4WD F-150 variants, any F-150 outside the 2004–2008 model years, or any other make or model. Tires larger than 33x11.50 inches are not recommended without fender trimming or additional modifications. This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth anomalies, or other reproductive harm (California Proposition 65).

Common Questions

Does this system fit a 4WD F-150?

The ICON Stage 1 system with part number K93030 is designed and validated for 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2WD trucks only. A separate ICON system is required for 4WD applications; this kit will not fit a 4WD drivetrain.

Will my stock wheels and tires still fit after installation?

Yes. ICON confirms OEM wheels and tires are compatible with this Stage 1 system across the full 0–2.63-inch lift range. No spacers or modifications to the OEM wheel-and-tire package are required.

What lift height can I run with aftermarket tires?

ICON recommends tires up to 33x11.50 inches with this Stage 1 system. Larger tires may physically fit but will require fender trimming or other modifications. Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes are 17x8.5, 18x9, and 20x9 inches at the offsets listed in the Specifications table.

Are the shocks in this system serviceable?

Yes. All shocks included in this Stage 1 system are fully serviceable per Application Note #55, meaning internal components can be rebuilt or replaced rather than requiring full shock replacement when the units eventually wear.

Does installation require cutting, drilling, or welding?

No. The ICON Stage 1 system for the 2004–2008 Ford F-150 2WD is a 100% bolt-on system. No cutting, drilling, or welding is required to complete the installation using the included hardware.
