ICON Stage 1 2.5 VS Coilover Conversion System for 2005-2016 Ford F-250/F-350
ICON Stage 1 2.5 VS Coilover Conversion System for 2005-2016 Ford F-250/F-350
Couldn't load pickup availability
The ICON Stage 1 Coilover Conversion System is a bolt-in front suspension upgrade for 2005–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD trucks, delivering 2.5–3 inches of adjustable lift height through a 2.5 VS Series remote reservoir coilover paired with two 2.0 VS Series internal reservoir rear shocks. Eibach coil springs, FK Rod End bearings, and vehicle-specific valving come standard. Springs in this kit are rated for diesel engines only.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Ride Height You Set, Damping You Can Feel
The 2.5 VS Series remote reservoir coilover replaces the factory coil and shock in the OEM coil bucket, giving F-250 and F-350 owners a continuous 2.5–3 inch front lift range they can dial in with the coilover's threaded preload collar rather than swapping components. That adjustability matters on a heavy-duty truck: terrain changes, payload shifts, and tire upgrades all affect ride height, and being able to correct for them without pulling the suspension apart saves time and preserves the setup you've already tuned.
Built to Be Serviced, Not Replaced
The coilover body is CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and machined to accept a 7/8 inch shaft. The fully rebuildable and revalveable design means the unit can be refreshed or retuned as the truck's use changes (heavier loads, different terrain, or a future tire upgrade) without buying a new shock. Eibach coil springs carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage. FK Rod End bearings reduce deflection and extend service life compared with rubber bushings, which matters on a platform that sees sustained off-road stress.
Stage 1 Component List
The kit ships in multiple boxes and includes one ICON 2.5 VS Remote Reservoir bolt-in coilover conversion kit with CAMS (part 61720) and two ICON 2.0 VS Internal Reservoir rear shocks (part 36508, qty 2). The coilover conversion design also allows for the future addition of a secondary shock at the front.
Features
- Bolt-in fitment: installs in the OEM coil bucket location; coil centering cup removal required
- 2.5–3 in adjustable lift: ride height set via threaded coilover collar; heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle
- Vehicle-specific valving: tuned for F-250/F-350 4WD dynamics on and off road
- Eibach coil springs: lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage; rated for diesel engines only
- FK Rod End bearings: reduced deflection and extended longevity versus rubber bushings
- Fully rebuildable and revalveable: CAD-plated body with 7/8 in shaft; serviceable in the field or at a shop

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2005–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD owners running diesel engines who want a bolt-in front coilover conversion with 2.5–3 inches of adjustable lift, improved damping, and a fully serviceable shock they can rebuild or retune over time. It pairs with OEM wheels and tires and with ICON Alloys in 17x8.5, 18x9, or 20x9 fitments at the recommended offsets.
This kit does not fit gas-engine F-250/F-350 trucks. The Eibach springs are rated for diesel engines only. It does not include the rear leveling hardware needed to bring an F-250 level with the lifted front: 2005–2010 models require a separate 4-inch block kit (ICON 194275) and U-bolt kit (ICON 37003); 2011–2016 models require U-bolt kit ICON 67003. An adjustable track bar may be needed to realign the axle laterally and is not included. Installation requires removal of the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket.
Common Questions
Will this kit work on a gas-powered F-250 or F-350?
The ICON Stage 1 Coilover Conversion System's Eibach coil springs are rated for diesel engines only. Gas-engine 2005–2016 F-250 and F-350 trucks are not a supported application for this kit.
Does the kit level the truck front to rear?
The Stage 1 kit lifts the front 2.5–3 inches. To bring a 2005–2016 F-250 level with the lifted front, a separate 4-inch rear block kit and U-bolt kit are required and are not included. ICON part numbers 194275 (blocks), 37003 (2005–2010 U-bolts), and 67003 (2011–2016 U-bolts) are the recommended companions.
What does the installation require beyond the kit itself?
Installing the ICON Stage 1 Coilover Conversion System requires removing the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket. An adjustable track bar may also be needed to realign the front axle laterally after the lift; that component is sold separately.
Can the shocks be rebuilt or retuned later?
Yes. Both the 2.5 VS Series front coilover and the 2.0 VS Series rear shocks in this kit are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so they can be serviced or retuned as the truck's use or tire size changes without replacing the entire unit.
What tires fit with this lift?
The ICON Stage 1 system is compatible with OEM wheels and tires. The recommended aftermarket tire size is 35x12.50 inches. Larger tires may fit but could require fender trimming or other modifications.
