The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) Install Kit is an active-damping controller for 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia trucks and SUVs equipped with ICON CDEV (Compression Damping Electronic Valve) shocks. The kit includes application-specific mounting brackets, wire harnesses, and hardware sized for each platform, so the IIC module mounts cleanly without fabrication. CDEV front and rear shocks must be purchased separately before this kit can be installed.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Real-Time Damping at Over 1,000 Samples Per Second
The IIC module reads an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope continuously, running its algorithms more than 1,000 times per second. When the system detects a change in terrain or chassis movement, it calculates the required damping adjustment and sends that command to the CDEV valves in under 40 milliseconds. At that response time, the shocks are already adjusting before the chassis has finished reacting, with no input required from the driver.
In-Cab Adjustment and Data Logging via the IIC App
The IIC connects to an iOS device over Bluetooth, giving the driver access to baseline firmness settings, G-Boost (vertical sensitivity), and Corner Boost (lateral sensitivity) without leaving the cab. Three preconfigured Drive Modes (Normal, Desert, and Haul) cover the most common use cases, and the app supports an unlimited number of user-created presets for drivers who want settings dialed in for a specific trail or load. The app also logs time, speed, distance, and G-force data from each trip, which can be reviewed after the fact. An iOS device is required; Android is not supported.
Application-Specific Hardware for a Clean Install
Rather than generic brackets, the IIC Install Kit ships with mounting hardware and wire harnesses engineered for the Tundra and Sequoia body structures. That specificity keeps routing tidy and reduces the chance of fitment issues during installation.

Who This Is For and Isn't
The IIC Install Kit is for 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners who have already purchased or are purchasing ICON CDEV-equipped shocks and want active, app-controlled damping adjustment without stopping to make manual changes at the shock body.
The IIC Install Kit does not fit Tundra or Sequoia vehicles equipped with the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system. It is not compatible with Android devices. CDEV front and rear shocks are not included and must be purchased separately; the IIC cannot control standard (non-CDEV) shock absorbers.
Common Questions
Does this kit include the CDEV shocks?
No. The ICON Intelligent Control Install Kit includes only the IIC controller module, application-specific mounting brackets, wire harnesses, and hardware. Compatible ICON CDEV front and rear shock absorbers must be purchased separately and must already be installed or ordered alongside this kit for the system to function.
Will this work on a Tundra or Sequoia with the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension?
No. Per ICON Application Note #153, the IIC Install Kit is not compatible with vehicles equipped with the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system. Buyers should confirm their vehicle's suspension configuration before ordering.
Does the IIC app work on Android phones?
No. Per ICON Application Note #198, the IIC mobile app requires an iOS device. Android smartphones and tablets are not supported. An iOS device must be present to access Drive Modes, custom presets, and the data-logging features.
What does the IIC actually control, and how fast does it respond?
The IIC controller reads its onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope at over 1,000 samples per second, then sends compression-damping commands to the CDEV valves inside compatible ICON shocks. Those valves respond in under 40 milliseconds, allowing the suspension to adapt to terrain changes in real time without driver input.
What mounting hardware is included for installation?
The IIC Install Kit ships with application-specific mounting brackets, wire harnesses, and fasteners designed for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra and 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia. No universal or generic brackets are included; the hardware is sized and routed for these two platforms specifically.
