The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) Install Kit fits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco (excluding Bronco Raptor) and adds the onboard computer that enables active, real-time compression damping adjustment on compatible ICON CDEV shocks. The kit includes application-specific mounting brackets, hardware, and wire harnesses sized for the Bronco's chassis. CDEV front and rear shocks must be installed separately before the IIC can function.

The IIC unit reads an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope continuously, running those inputs through custom algorithms and any user-defined settings more than 1,000 times per second. When the system detects a change in terrain or wheel position, it sends a damping command to the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) inside the shock absorbers. That command is delivered and acted on in under 40 milliseconds, fast enough to respond to terrain variation before the chassis has time to react on its own. In-Cab Adjustment Without Stopping

The IIC connects to ICON's mobile app over Bluetooth, giving the driver a live interface to the shock system from an iOS device. Baseline firmness, vertical G-Boost sensitivity, and lateral Corner Boost sensitivity are all adjustable from the app without leaving the vehicle. Three preconfigured Drive Modes (Normal, Desert, and Haul) cover the most common use cases, and the app supports an unlimited number of user-created custom presets. The same app session also logs time, speed, distance, and G-force data, so a driver can review how the suspension performed across a specific trail or route.
