The ICON Adjustable Front Upper Link Kit is a direct-replacement suspension upgrade for 2007–2018 Jeep JK Wrangler, replacing factory front upper link arms with CNC-machined 1026 DOM tubular steel units that add length adjustability and eliminate the bushing bind inherent in the stock configuration.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Built Stronger Than Stock
The ICON front upper link arms are fabricated from 1026 DOM tubular steel, CNC machined and welded in-house. That construction process produces link arms with greater strength and dimensional consistency than the factory stamped or cast units they replace, giving the front suspension a more capable foundation for demanding off-road use where flex and impact loads are highest.
PTFE-Lined FK Rod Ends for Real Articulation
Each link arm in this kit uses PTFE-lined FK rod ends in place of the rubber bushings found on stock arms. The PTFE lining allows the rod end to move freely through its range of motion without the binding that rubber bushings introduce under articulation. The result is a front suspension that tracks and responds as the geometry intends, with controlled deflection and maximum responsiveness over uneven terrain.
Caster Angle Adjustment at the Link
Link arm length is adjustable, which allows front caster angle to be dialed in after installation. Caster adjustment at the upper link is particularly useful when the front axle has been repositioned by a lift or long-travel suspension modification, where factory caster settings no longer apply. The kit installs into the factory OEM mounts using application-specific hardware included in the kit.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2007–2018 Jeep JK Wrangler owners running a lifted or long-travel front suspension setup who need to correct caster angle and eliminate bushing bind from the factory upper link arms.
This kit does not fit Jeep JL Wrangler, Jeep JT Gladiator, or any non-JK platform. It covers the front upper link position only and does not include lower link arms or any other suspension components.
Common Questions
What vehicles does this upper link kit fit?
The ICON Adjustable Front Upper Link Kit fits 2007–2018 Jeep JK Wrangler at the front upper link position. It does not fit the Jeep JL Wrangler, JT Gladiator, or any other platform.
Does this kit include the hardware needed for installation?
Yes. The ICON front upper link kit includes application-specific hardware and installs directly into the factory OEM upper link mounts on the JK Wrangler without requiring custom fabrication.
Why use rod ends instead of rubber bushings in a link arm?
The PTFE-lined FK rod ends in these ICON link arms move freely through their range of motion without the binding that rubber bushings introduce under articulation. This allows the front suspension to follow the intended geometry rather than fighting bushing resistance, which improves responsiveness and reduces deflection under load.
Can this kit correct caster angle after a lift installation?
Yes. The ICON front upper link arms are adjustable in length, which allows the installer to set front caster angle after the axle position has changed due to a lift or long-travel suspension modification. The adjustment is made at the link arm itself before final torque.
