Couldn't load pickup availability
The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 (TRD) 3.0 Suspension System (K53251S) is a complete front and rear suspension upgrade for the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3–4.25" of front lift and 4" of rear lift on most submodels, or 1–2.25" front and 2" rear on Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro. The system centers on 3.0 Series remote reservoir front coilovers with CDC Valves and pairs them with 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV rear remote reservoir shocks, billet upper control arms, billet rear upper and lower links, a sway bar drop kit, dual-rate rear coil springs, and a billet adjustable rear track bar.

3.0 Series Front Coilovers With 10-Setting Damping Adjustment
The 3.0 Series front coilovers provide 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks, and ICON's vehicle-specific shock length yields up to 40% more travel than stock. The externally adjustable CDC Valves restrict oil flow into the reservoir across 10 compression damping settings, letting the driver tune ride character from soft to firm without removing the shock. A multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of travel, controlling the chassis during hard hits or unexpected obstacles.
Billet Aluminum Control Arms and Rear Links
The included billet aluminum upper control arms restore corrected front-end geometry after the lift and provide on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment. The ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. At the rear, CNC-machined 6061 aluminum upper and lower links with PTFE-lined FK rod ends and multi-durometer bushings improve articulation, allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment via ICON's double adjuster system, and operate without periodic greasing.
Rear Coil Springs, Track Bar, and Balanced System Tune
The TRD-specific dual-rate rear coil springs (part 51216) use a softer ride-height rate and a firmer overload rate to balance daily comfort with bottoming resistance. The billet adjustable rear track bar, CNC-machined from solid 6061 aluminum and anodized, re-centers the rear axle after the lift; double adjuster rod end threads allow fine-tuning on the vehicle without disassembly. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks also carry CDC Valves with 10 damping settings and an internal Bump Zone that adds 20% damping force at the limit of travel, giving the rear end a balanced tune that matches the 3.0 Series fronts.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on 4WD models who want a complete, tunable lift with corrected geometry and balanced front-to-rear damping for both daily driving and off-road use. It is designed specifically for the TRD submodel variant (K53251S) and accommodates up to 35" tires with minor fender trimming.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require the additional ICON Air Ride/Auto Headlight Bracket Kit (part 55153). 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package require the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Sequoias equipped with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require part 55164.
Common Questions
What lift height will this system give my Sequoia?
The ICON Stage 1 (TRD) 3.0 system provides 3–4.25" of front lift and 4" of rear lift on most 2023–2026 Sequoia submodels. Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro receive 1–2.25" of front lift and 2" of rear lift. Lift heights are measured from a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the lift range.
Is this system compatible with my Sequoia's electronic suspension or driver-assist features?
The ICON Stage 1 (TRD) 3.0 system is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. It is also not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) must be recalibrated after installation on any compatible Sequoia.
What components are included in this system?
The Stage 1 (TRD) 3.0 system includes 3.0 VS CDCV front coilovers with remote reservoirs, billet aluminum upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a front sway bar drop kit, billet rear upper and lower links, 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV rear remote reservoir shocks, TRD dual-rate rear coil springs (part 51216), and a billet adjustable rear track bar. Certain accessories such as the differential drop kit, headlight bracket kit, and TRD skid plate spacer are sold separately.
Do the shocks have adjustable damping?
Both the 3.0 Series front coilovers and the 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks in this system are equipped with ICON CDC Valves, providing 10 externally adjustable compression damping settings from soft to hard. Adjustments are made without removing the shocks from the vehicle.
Are there any California safety warnings for this product?
