The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 4-Link Conversion Lower Links are a core structural component of the ICON 4-Link Conversion System for 2023–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, compatible with 2.5" to 7" of front lift. Each link is CNC-machined from 2" × .188" wall DOM steel tubing and finished in a semi-gloss black powder coat. The frame bracket kit and upper links are sold separately and must be matched to the correct year range.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Consistent Caster Through the Full Travel Range

The factory radius arm suspension relies on large rubber bushings that bind as the suspension cycles, causing caster angle to shift unpredictably through travel. The ICON 4-Link design replaces those bushings with PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings at each link end. Spherical bearings articulate freely in any direction, so caster stays consistent from full droop to full compression. The truck tracks straighter under load, responds more predictably on rough terrain, and requires fewer alignment corrections after hard use.

On-Vehicle Caster Adjustment

The lower links incorporate ICON double adjusters that allow caster angle to be dialed in while the links remain bolted to the truck. Adjusting caster on a radius arm truck normally means removing components or shimming the axle, a time-consuming process that discourages fine-tuning. With the double-adjuster design, a front-end alignment becomes a straightforward procedure, and caster can be re-optimized after a lift height change without pulling the suspension apart.

Reduced Deflection for Greater Responsiveness

DOM steel tubing with a .188" wall thickness provides the rigidity needed to resist the lateral and longitudinal forces a Super Duty generates at the front axle. The PTFE-lined spherical bearings at each end minimize deflection that would otherwise translate into vague steering feel and delayed suspension response. The result is a front end that reacts to driver input and terrain changes with less lag, a meaningful difference when navigating off-camber trails or corrugated dirt roads at speed.

Features

  • DOM steel construction: CNC-machined from 2" × .188" wall DOM steel tubing
  • PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings: replace factory radius arm bushings to eliminate deflection and bushing bind
  • ICON double adjusters: allow on-vehicle caster angle tuning without removing the links
  • Semi-gloss black powder coat: corrosion-resistant finish
  • Lift compatibility: works with 2.5" to 7" of front lift

Who This Is For and Isn't

These lower links suit owners of 2023–2026 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks who are building or completing an ICON 4-Link Conversion System with 2.5" to 7" of front lift and want to eliminate bushing bind, improve articulation, and gain on-vehicle caster adjustability.

These lower links do not fit 2WD Super Duty models, and they do not complete the 4-Link system on their own. The 2023–2026 frame bracket kit (ICON part 64053) and upper links (ICON part 64052) are required and sold separately. Trucks outside the 2023–2026 model year range require different bracket and upper-link part numbers.

Common Questions

Do these lower links work with factory wheels and tires?

Yes, the ICON 4-Link Conversion Lower Links are compatible with factory Ford Super Duty wheels and tires. For aftermarket fitments, ICON recommends 17×8.5", 18×9", or 20×9" ICON Alloys wheels with specific backspace and offset figures, and tires up to 37" × 12.50".

What other components are needed to complete the 4-Link system on a 2023–2026 Super Duty?

For 2023–2026 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, completing the ICON 4-Link Conversion System requires the frame bracket kit (ICON part 64053) and the upper links (ICON part 64052), both sold separately. The lower links alone are not a complete installation.

What lift heights are compatible with these lower links?

The ICON 4-Link Conversion Lower Links are compatible with 2.5" to 7" of front lift on 2023–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD models.

Why use spherical bearings instead of the factory radius arm bushings?

The factory rubber radius arm bushings deflect and bind as the suspension cycles, causing caster angle to shift through travel. The PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings in the ICON lower links articulate freely, eliminating bind and deflection so caster stays consistent and steering response remains predictable through the full range of suspension travel.

Can caster be adjusted without removing the lower links?

Yes. The ICON double adjusters built into these lower links allow caster angle to be tuned while the links remain installed on the vehicle, simplifying the front-end alignment process and making it practical to re-optimize caster after a lift height change.
