The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Front Dual Rate Coil Spring Kit lifts 2023–2026 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty 4WD diesel trucks 2.5 inches at the front and is engineered specifically for the weight and compression characteristics of diesel-powered Super Duty platforms. The kit is a 100% bolt-on system and fits all four cab and bed configurations within the 2023–2026 model year range, with one noted exception for Tremor-package trucks.

Dual-Rate Spring Design for On-Road Comfort and Off-Road Resistance
The coil springs use a dual-rate construction that delivers a softer initial spring rate under everyday driving loads, reducing harshness on pavement and graded dirt roads. Under heavy cargo, towing tongue weight, or aggressive off-road inputs, the secondary rate engages to resist bottoming and maintain control. That progression is calibrated for diesel engine weight, so the spring rates reflect the actual front axle load of a diesel Super Duty rather than a generic heavy-truck curve.
Corrosion Resistance Built Into the Finish
Each spring receives a dual-stage, semi-gloss powder coat that protects against road salt, mud, and moisture: conditions a working Super Duty encounters year-round. The finish is applied in two stages to build film thickness and adhesion at the coil ends, where bare metal is most exposed. Combined with ICON's lifetime guarantee against sagging and breakage, the springs are intended to outlast the truck's stock suspension without requiring replacement under normal use.
Features
- 2.5" front lift height: based on 4WD crew cab diesel configuration (Tremor-package trucks achieve approximately 1.5" over stock)
- Dual-rate coil design: soft initial rate for on-road comfort, firmer secondary rate for bottoming resistance off-road
- Diesel-optimized spring rates: calibrated for the front axle load of diesel-engine Super Duty trucks
- Dual-stage semi-gloss powder coat: two-stage finish for corrosion resistance in harsh operating environments
- 100% bolt-on installation: no cutting or welding required for the spring swap itself
- Lifetime warranty against sagging and breakage

Who This Is For and Isn't
These coil springs are for owners of 2023–2026 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, or F-550 Super Duty trucks configured as 4WD with a diesel engine who want 2.5 inches of front lift, improved off-road suspension travel when paired with compatible ICON shocks, and the ability to run up to 35-inch tires on factory or recommended aftermarket wheels.
These springs do not fit 2WD Super Duty trucks or any gasoline-engine Super Duty variant. They are front springs only and do not address rear lift. Installation requires separate caster correction (caster cams, an aftermarket radius arm kit, or a 4-link conversion), none of which are included. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. An adjustable track bar (such as ICON part 64039) is also recommended to correct bump steer geometry; that part is sold separately. Trucks with the Tremor package will see approximately 1.5 inches of lift rather than 2.5 inches.
Common Questions
Do these springs fit gasoline-engine Super Duty trucks?
No. The ICON 62516 dual-rate coil springs are rated for diesel engines only. The spring rates are calibrated for the front axle load of a diesel-powered Super Duty; gasoline-engine F-250 through F-550 trucks are not a supported fitment for this kit.
What caster correction is needed after installing these springs?
At 2.5 inches of lift, caster angle correction is required. ICON's application notes specify caster cams, an aftermarket radius arm kit, or a 4-link conversion as the appropriate correction methods. None of these are included with the coil spring kit and must be sourced separately before the installation is complete.
Is an adjustable track bar required?
An adjustable track bar is recommended to realign the front axle laterally and correct bump steer geometry after the lift. ICON offers a compatible track bar bracket (part 64039) and a separate adjustable track bar kit for 2017–2026 F-250/F-350 Super Duty trucks; both are sold separately.
Do I need to replace the brake lines?
A brake line kit is optional, not required to complete the installation. Owners who prefer not to bend the factory steel brake lines, or who want a braided stainless upgrade, can add ICON part 61111. The factory lines can remain in place if carefully repositioned during installation.
Will these springs work with my factory wheels and tires?
Yes, the ICON 62516 coil spring kit is confirmed compatible with factory Super Duty wheels and tires. For aftermarket fitments, ICON recommends 35x12.50-inch tires; larger tires may fit but can require fender trimming or other modifications. Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes are 17x8.5-inch with 5-inch backspace, 18x9-inch with 5.25-inch backspace, or 20x9-inch with 5.25-inch backspace.
Does installing these springs require ADAS recalibration?
Yes. Recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is required after installation of these coil springs. This applies to any 2023–2026 Super Duty equipped with ADAS features such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise, or automatic emergency braking.
