The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 Billet Suspension System is a complete, 100% bolt-on lift kit for 2019–2026 Ram 1500 trucks (excluding Classic, TRX, and RHO) that delivers 2–3" of adjustable front lift through vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5" internal-reservoir coilovers, billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms, and ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series internal-reservoir rear shocks. The 2019–2023 Ram 1500 Rebel achieves a lift range of 1.25–2.25" over stock with this system.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Increased Wheel Travel Without Sacrificing Daily Drivability
The 2.5" coilover shocks at the front of this system are longer than stock, which directly increases front wheel travel (the amount the suspension can compress and extend over rough terrain). More travel means the tires stay in contact with the ground longer through ruts, rocks, and washboard roads, translating to better traction and a more controlled ride. The internal reservoir on each coilover provides additional fluid volume and cooling capacity, reducing fade during sustained off-road use without requiring external reservoir lines routed through the engine bay.
Billet Delta Joint UCAs: Alignment Retention at Lift Height
Lifting a truck without replacing the upper control arms forces the factory arms to operate at angles they were not designed for, which throws off caster and camber and accelerates ball-joint wear. The billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms in this system restore proper geometry at the 2–3" lift height and provide on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment so alignment can be dialed in without pulling the arms. ICON's patented Delta Joint combines the high-angularity of a uniball with a sealed, greaseable, zinc-plated housing, addressing the corrosion and contamination vulnerability that makes traditional uniballs a poor choice for daily-driven trucks exposed to road salt, mud, and water.
Balanced Front-to-Rear Tuning in One Kit
The ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks included in this Stage 1 system are valved specifically for the Ram 1500 to complement the front coilovers. A mismatched front-to-rear damping ratio causes the truck to pitch and wallow; vehicle-specific rear valving keeps the chassis level and predictable whether the bed is loaded or empty. All shocks in this system are fully serviceable.
Features
- Adjustable front lift: 2.5" coilovers yield 2–3" of front lift over stock (1.25–2.25" on 2019–2023 Rebel)
- Delta Joint UCAs: billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented high-angle, sealed, greaseable Delta Joint ball joint
- Internal-reservoir front shocks: 2.5" diameter, CAD-plated bodies with 7/8" shafts and vehicle-specific valving
- 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks: internal reservoir, 5/8" polished shafts, vehicle-specific valving
- 100% bolt-on installation: no drilling, cutting, or welding required
- Fully serviceable shocks: all dampers can be rebuilt

Who This Is For and Isn't
This Stage 1 Billet system suits 2019–2026 Ram 1500 owners who want 2–3" of front lift, increased wheel travel, and improved off-road capability without sacrificing daily drivability, particularly those who plan to run larger aftermarket wheels and tires and want proper alignment geometry maintained at lift height. It is compatible with 0–3" of rear lift on most Ram 1500 submodels when paired with a rear lift solution.
This system does not fit the Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 1500 TRX, or Ram 1500 RHO. It is not compatible with EcoDiesel-equipped Ram 1500 trucks or trucks equipped with factory rear air ride suspension. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) recalibration is required after installation. Coil bucket clearance should be verified during installation, and sanding of the coil bucket may be required.
Common Questions
Does this system fit the Ram 1500 Classic, TRX, or RHO?
The ICON Stage 1 Billet system for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 does not fit the Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 1500 TRX, or Ram 1500 RHO. These are separate platforms with different suspension geometry, and no version of this kit is compatible with them.
Will this system work on my EcoDiesel Ram 1500?
No. The coil springs in this Stage 1 Billet system are not rated for EcoDiesel-equipped Ram 1500 trucks. EcoDiesel owners should contact TerrainVault to identify a compatible ICON suspension solution for their specific configuration.
What lift height does the Rebel get with this system?
On 2019–2023 Ram 1500 Rebel models, this system delivers a front lift range of 1.25–2.25" over stock rather than the standard 2–3" range. This difference is due to the Rebel's factory suspension configuration. The lift range for 2024–2026 Rebel models has not been separately confirmed for this system.
Is any cutting, drilling, or welding required to install this system?
The ICON Stage 1 Billet system is 100% bolt-on: no cutting, drilling, or welding is required. An installation guide is included. Note that sanding of the coil bucket for clearance may be necessary on some trucks; cycling the suspension during installation to verify clearance is recommended.
Do I need to recalibrate my truck's driver assistance systems after installing this kit?
Yes. Recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is required after installing this suspension system on any equipped Ram 1500. This applies to features such as forward collision warning, lane departure, and adaptive cruise that rely on sensors whose aim changes with ride height.
