The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5 Remote Reservoir CDEV Front Coilover Kit is a bolt-on front suspension upgrade for 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra trucks equipped with the 5.7L V8 engine, providing 1–3 inches of lift height adjustability and electronically controlled compression damping. The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) kit (Part 53506) and CDEV rear shocks (Part 57823EP) are required for full system operation and are sold separately.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Electronic Damping Control from Inside the Cab

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) meters oil flow to regulate damping force during compression, reacting in under 40 milliseconds. Powered by the ICON Intelligent Control system and the ICON mobile app, the valve draws on an onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope to predict terrain and adjust shock settings continuously. Hydraulic circuits are tuned specifically for the Tundra application to maximize resolution and dynamic range, so the suspension responds to what the truck is actually doing rather than a generic calibration.

2.5-Inch Shock Body with Remote Reservoir

The larger 2.5-inch shock body and increased piston area deliver improved damping capacity compared to stock components. Remote reservoirs extend consistent damping performance during sustained off-road use by keeping operating temperatures lower under heavy load, a meaningful advantage on long runs where heat buildup in a conventional shock degrades ride quality. ICON Eibach springs are included and matched to the vehicle-specific valving.

Bolt-On Construction Built to Last

CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components, corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies, and 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome-plated shafts are paired with FK rod end bearings for reduced deflection and extended service life. No cutting or welding is required for installation. Each unit is 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable, protecting the long-term value of the investment.

Features

  • 1–3 Inch Lift Adjustability: adjustable ride height for fitment of larger wheel and tire combinations
  • CDEV Electronic Valve: infinitely variable compression damping, reacts in under 40ms, tuned per application
  • Remote Reservoir: maintains cooler operating temperatures during extended off-road use
  • ICON Eibach Springs: vehicle-specific matched springs included
  • 6061 Aluminum CNC Components: CAD-plated bodies with 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shafts
  • Rebuildable and Revalveable: fully serviceable for long-term use

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra owners running the 5.7L V8 who want electronically adjustable front suspension with 1–3 inches of lift, improved damping on mixed terrain, and a system that can be tuned from inside the cab via the ICON app. OEM wheel and tire combinations are compatible; ICON Alloys 17x8.5 with 5.75-inch backspace, 18x9 with 6.00-inch backspace, and 20x9 with 5.625-inch backspace are recommended aftermarket fitments. Tires up to 35x12.50 inches are noted as fitting without modification.

This kit does not fit Tundra models with engines other than the 5.7L V8, and it covers the front suspension only. CDEV rear shocks (Part 57823EP) and the IIC kit (Part 53506) are required separately for a complete front-and-rear CDEV system. Tires larger than 35x12.50 inches may require fender trimming and additional modifications. Common Questions

Does this kit include everything needed for a complete CDEV suspension system?

The ICON 2.5 VS Remote Reservoir CDEV Front Coilover Kit covers the front suspension only. A complete front-and-rear CDEV system also requires the ICON Intelligent Control Install Kit (Part 53506) and CDEV rear shocks (Part 57823EP), both sold separately.

Which Tundra engine is this kit compatible with?

The ICON 2.5 VS CDEV Front Coilover Kit is compatible only with 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra models equipped with the 5.7L V8 engine. It is not compatible with other Tundra engine configurations.

How much lift does this coilover kit provide?

The ICON 2.5 VS CDEV Front Coilover Kit provides 1–3 inches of lift height adjustability over stock, allowing fitment of larger wheel and tire combinations without a fixed ride height commitment.

Does installation require cutting or welding?

The ICON 2.5 VS CDEV Front Coilover Kit is a bolt-on system. No cutting or welding is required for installation on compatible 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8 models.

What tire size fits without modification?

Tires up to 35x12.50 inches are noted as fitting the 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra with this coilover kit installed without modification. Larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and additional modifications.
