The ICON Front Upper Links are a core component of the ICON 4-Link Conversion System for 2005–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks running 2.5"–7" of front lift. Each link is CNC machined from 2" × .188" wall DOM steel tubing and fitted with PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings, replacing the factory radius arm bushings to eliminate bushing bind and reduce deflection through the full range of front suspension travel. The brackets, upper links, and lower links are sold separately so the system can be configured for the correct year range.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Consistent Caster Through Full Suspension Travel
Factory radius arm bushings deflect under load, allowing caster angles to shift as the suspension cycles. The ICON 4-Link geometry maintains consistent caster angles from full droop to full compression, which translates directly to predictable steering feel and stable handling on uneven terrain. Eliminating that caster variation means the truck tracks where it is pointed regardless of suspension position.
Spherical Bearings in Place of Rubber Bushings
PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings replace the large deflective radius arm bushings at each link end. The harder bearing surface minimizes deflection under lateral and longitudinal loads, increasing suspension responsiveness and reducing the vagueness that rubber bushings introduce over time. The result is a more direct connection between the wheel and the chassis throughout the suspension stroke.
Built to Last in a Corrosive Environment
The DOM steel tubing is finished in a semi-gloss black powder coat for corrosion resistance. The fabricated components carry ICON's Limited Lifetime Warranty coverage.

Who This Is For and Isn't
These upper links suit owners of 2005–2022 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks who are building or completing the ICON 4-Link Conversion System with 2.5"–7" of front lift and want to eliminate bushing bind and improve caster consistency.
These upper links do not fit 2WD Super Duty models, Super Duty trucks outside the 2005–2022 model year range, or any vehicle other than the Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty. They are not a standalone suspension upgrade: the complete 4-Link system also requires the ICON 4-Link brackets (164500, 164503, or 164504, depending on year range) and ICON lower links (164502), which are sold separately.
Common Questions
Do these upper links work without the ICON 4-Link brackets and lower links?
No. The ICON Front Upper Links are one component of the ICON 4-Link Conversion System. A complete installation also requires the ICON 4-Link brackets (part number 164500, 164503, or 164504, depending on year range) and ICON lower links (part number 164502), each sold separately.
Which bracket part number do I need for my year?
The correct ICON 4-Link bracket part number depends on the specific model year of the Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty. ICON designates part numbers 164500, 164503, and 164504 for different year ranges within the 2005–2022 span; confirm the correct bracket for the truck's year before ordering.
What lift range is compatible with these upper links?
The ICON Front Upper Links are compatible with 2.5"–7" of front lift on 2005–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks.
What do the PTFE-lined spherical bearings replace, and why does it matter?
The PTFE-lined FK spherical bearings replace the factory large deflective radius arm bushings. Unlike rubber bushings, the harder bearing surface resists deflection under load, which reduces vagueness in the front suspension and improves predictability and responsiveness throughout the suspension travel range.
Is there a California Proposition 65 warning for this product?
Yes. The ICON Front Upper Links contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth anomalies, or other reproductive harm.
