The 2.5-inch shock body provides greater piston area than the factory unit, which directly increases damping capacity across varying terrain. More damping range means the shock can respond appropriately to both the small, rapid inputs of highway driving and the larger, slower compressions of off-road use, without requiring any adjustment between the two. The CAD-plated shock body and 7/8-inch induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft resist corrosion and wear over the long term.

Remote Reservoir for Sustained Performance

The external remote reservoir separates additional fluid and gas volume from the main shock body, which keeps operating temperatures lower during extended hard use. Lower temperatures keep damping characteristics consistent longer, so the shock performs at the end of a rough trail section the same way it did at the start. FK rod end bearings at the lower bar pin reduce deflection and extend service life compared to rubber bushings.

Adjustable Lift for Larger Wheel and Tire Fitment

The coilover's threaded collar allows lift height to be set anywhere in the 2–2.63-inch range over stock, giving the owner flexibility to dial in ride height as wheel and tire combinations change. OEM wheels and tires clear the kit without modification. Recommended aftermarket fitments include ICON Alloys 17x8.5-inch wheels with 5.00-inch backspace, 18x9-inch wheels with 5.25-inch backspace, and 20x9-inch wheels with 5.625-inch backspace.
