The Flatline Van Co Transit Core Front Bumper Skid Plate is a 5mm aluminum undercarriage guard built to pair with the Flatline Van Co Transit Core Front Bumper, adding front-end protection to 2020 and newer Ford Transit 150, 250, and 350 vans with Mid or High Roof on 130-inch, 148-inch, and 148-inch Extended wheelbases.
Aluminum Construction That Keeps Weight in Check
At 5mm thick, the aluminum plate provides meaningful resistance to rock strikes, road debris, and low-speed impacts that can crack or puncture the components tucked behind a van's front fascia. Aluminum's strength-to-weight ratio means the skid plate adds real protection without the bulk of a steel equivalent, keeping the Transit's handling and payload capacity closer to stock.
UV-Rated Powder Coat for Long-Term Durability
The exterior-grade, UV-rated powder coat finish resists fading and surface degradation from sun exposure and road grime. For a van that spends time on dirt roads or in high-UV environments, a finish rated for outdoor exposure matters more than a standard paint or bare-metal surface that can oxidize or chalk over time.
Integrated Fit with the Transit Core Front Bumper
The skid plate is engineered specifically to mount to the Flatline Van Co Transit Core Front Bumper, not as a universal aftermarket part. That purpose-built fit means no trimming, no fabrication, and no guesswork about clearance or mounting points. The Transit Core Front Bumper is required for installation and is sold separately.
