The C4 Fabrication Tundra Rock Sliders are a bolt-on rocker-panel protection system built entirely from DOM tubing for the 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra Crew Max. The one-piece slider assembly mounts with no drilling, no welding, and no fuel tank removal, and ships in Raw or Powder Coat finish.
DOM Tubing Where It Counts
Every structural element of these rock sliders uses DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) tubing rather than the HREW (Hot Rolled Electric Welded) tubing common in lower-cost designs. DOM tubing is drawn through a die after welding, which tightens the grain structure and produces a more consistent wall thickness. The result is a slider that resists denting and deformation when it contacts rocks, ledges, or stumps at trail speed. The main rail is 3″×2″ rectangular DOM for a wide, flat contact surface that spreads impact load across the rocker panel rather than concentrating it on a narrow edge.
A Mounting System Built Around the Frame
The 3/16″ thick mounting plates wrap completely around the Tundra's frame rails in a channel configuration, capturing the frame on three sides rather than bolting to a single face. That geometry distributes lateral and vertical loads across more of the frame cross-section, which matters when the slider is taking a sustained side-load on a shelf or being used as a step under load. All hardware required for installation is included in the box, along with fill plates that close the gap between the slider body and the rocker panel.
One-Piece Construction, Bolt-On Install
The current production run ships as a single continuous piece. The slider no longer bolts together at the midpoint, which removes a potential flex point and simplifies installation. The sliders are built at a flat 0° angle, which keeps the step surface level and the protection geometry consistent along the full length of the rocker. Because no drilling, welding, or fuel tank drop is required, a capable home installer with basic hand tools can complete the job without a lift or fabrication equipment. C4 Fabrication recommends test-fitting the sliders before any coating or paint is applied to confirm alignment.

Who This Is For and Isn't
These sliders suit 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra Crew Max owners who run trails with rock, ledge, or shelf exposure and want a bolt-on rocker protection solution they can install without a welder or lift. The included hardware and fill plates make this a complete kit out of the box.
These sliders do not fit the Tundra Double Cab or any other body style. Crew Max fitment only. No other build angle is available for this application. Raw-finish sliders must be painted or powder coated before installation to prevent rust; buyers who prefer a ready-to-install finish should select the Powder Coat variant.
Common Questions
Do these sliders fit the Tundra Double Cab?
No. The C4 Fabrication 2nd Gen Tundra Rock Sliders are designed and fitment-tested for the Crew Max body style only. They do not fit the Double Cab or any other Tundra cab configuration.
Is any drilling or welding required for installation?
No drilling, welding, or fuel tank removal is required. The Tundra Rock Sliders are a fully bolt-on design, and all required installation hardware is included in the box. C4 Fabrication recommends test-fitting before applying any paint or coating to confirm alignment.
What is included with the sliders?
Each set of C4 Fabrication Tundra Rock Sliders ships with fill plates and all hardware needed for installation. No additional fasteners or brackets need to be sourced separately.
What is the difference between the Raw and Powder Coat finish options?
Raw sliders ship as bare steel and must be painted or powder coated before installation to prevent rust. The Powder Coat option arrives with a factory-applied finish and is ready to install without additional surface treatment.
Why does the current design ship as one piece instead of two?
C4 Fabrication updated the Tundra Rock Sliders to a one-piece construction per side, eliminating the mid-span bolt joint used in earlier versions. The single continuous piece removes a potential flex point and simplifies the installation process.
