The BulletProof Hitches Old School Pintle Attachment is a cast steel dual-mode towing head that mounts to BulletProof Medium Duty, Heavy Duty, and Extreme Duty hitch channels, rated at 14,000 lbs GTW. Two Towing Modes, One Attachment

Opening the latch lets a standard 2-5/16" ball coupler drop in, so the same attachment handles everyday trailer connections without swapping hardware. Closing the latch converts the head to pintle-style towing with a lunette ring, which allows greater articulation on uneven terrain where a fixed ball connection has less range of motion. Switching between modes requires no tools beyond the included pins and clips.

Cast Steel Construction with Hardened Hardware

The attachment body is cast steel. Hardened pins and Grade 8 fasteners are used throughout, and the two included corrosion-resistant pins are sized for the pintle's retention points.
