On the 2-5/16" ball, the trailer weight rating reaches 14,000 lb, matching the upper capacity of the Medium Duty BulletProof Hitch line and giving tow-vehicle owners a sway control foundation rated to the same capacity as the hitch itself.

Two Balls, Two Mounting Sides

The mount carries both a 2" ball (rated 10,000 lb trailer / 2,000 lb tongue) and a 2-5/16" ball (rated 14,000 lb trailer / 2,000 lb tongue), so one piece covers the two most common trailer coupler sizes without swapping hardware. The 3/4" mounting plates on both sides of the ball mount let the sway control bar attach to either the driver or passenger side of the trailer, or allow two sway control systems to be run simultaneously on especially large or wide loads.
