The Goal Zero Yeti 1000X is a 997Wh lithium-ion NMC power station that recharges from solar, wall, or 12V car input and outputs clean power through two 120V AC pure sine wave inverters, multiple USB ports, and regulated 12V ports. This kit pairs it with the Ranger 300 Briefcase, a foldable 300-watt solar panel array built on an aluminum frame with an ETFE polymer surface. Together they form a self-contained off-grid power solution capable of running portable fridges, CPAP machines, televisions, and other high-draw devices. The Ranger 300 can recharge the Yeti 1000X in 4 to 8 hours under good solar conditions.
Features
- Multiple recharge inputs: Accepts power from the included 120W AC wall charger (9-hour full charge), an optional 600W supply (2 hours), an optional 230W supply (4.5 hours), compatible solar panels, or a 12V car port.
- Broad port selection: Two 120V AC inverter outlets (1500W continuous, 3000W surge, pure sine wave), 60W USB-C Power Delivery, USB-C output, two USB-A ports, two 6mm regulated 12V outputs, a 12V car port, and a 12V High Power Port.
- MPPT charge controller: Integrated controller optimises solar input efficiency when charging from panels.
- Foldable Ranger 300 panel: Four 75W panels hinged together fold into a briefcase form; kickstands deploy automatically on opening; built-in handles and magnetized corners aid packing.
- Ranger 300 weatherproofing: Junction box carries an IP65 waterproof rating.
- Simultaneous recharge and discharge: The Yeti 1000X can charge and power devices at the same time.

Care and use
- The solar panel produces power only when exposed to sunlight; it does not store a charge.
- Angle panels toward the sun and adjust position as the sun moves.
- Keep the power station protected from rain, dust, and snow during solar charging; the panel junction box is rated IP65 but the Yeti unit itself must remain dry.
- Store the battery with a charge; recharge every 3 to 6 months during long-term storage.
- The Ranger 300 can be chained with other compatible Goal Zero solar panels using combiner cables.
