The Goal Zero Ranger 300 Briefcase is a 300-watt portable solar panel built from four chained 75W panels on a hinged, fold-flat frame. The frame uses a thinner aluminum construction with a PET polymer shield in place of glass, reducing weight compared to glass-panel equivalents. A patent-pending kickstand folds out automatically as you open the panel, and built-in handles with magnetized corners make folding and carrying straightforward. It ships with a canvas carrying bag and a 6ft, 12 AWG cable with a High Power Port connector for pairing with a compatible power station.
Features
- Four-panel hinged design: Four 75W panels chained together and connected at the hinge fold into a single briefcase-style unit for transport and storage.
- Aluminum frame with PET polymer shield: Replaces glass with a polymer shield to reduce weight while maintaining a rigid structure.
- Auto-deploying kickstand: Patent-pending kickstand unfolds as the panel opens, positioning the array without extra setup steps.
- Built-in handles and magnetized corners: Simplify folding and carrying between locations.
- IP65-rated junction box: The junction box is rated IP65 for weather resistance.
- Chainable with other panels: Compatible with additional Goal Zero solar panels via combiner cables for higher combined output.

Care and use
- The panel does not store charge. It produces power only when exposed to sunlight and connected to a compatible power station or bank.
- For best efficiency, position the panel south-facing at a 45-degree angle.
- The Ranger 300 Briefcase is not designed for permanent roof or fixture mounting.
- Keep connected power stations and banks protected from rain, dust, and snow during use.
