The Goal Zero Boulder 50 is a rigid, mountable solar panel built with tempered glass and an aluminum frame with added corner protection. Rated at 50 watts, it uses monocrystalline cells and outputs 14–22V via a blue 8mm solar port. An integrated kickstand allows angle adjustment for optimal sun exposure without additional hardware. The panel is designed to withstand the elements and is suited to permanent or semi-permanent installations on rooftops, vehicles, or fixed structures.
Features
- Tempered glass and aluminum frame: rigid construction with corner protection for durable fixed installation.
- Integrated kickstand: built-in stand allows the panel to be angled for improved solar capture.
- Chainable output: up to 150W total when daisy-chained with additional Boulder panels via the 8mm connector.
- Weatherproof design: built to withstand rain, dust, and snow in permanent and semi-permanent setups.
- Monocrystalline cells: 50W rated power with an open circuit voltage of 18–20V.

Care and use
- The panel does not store charge. It produces power only when exposed to sunlight and connected to a compatible power station or bank.
- For best output, position the panel south-facing at a 45-degree angle.
- To chain multiple Boulder 50 panels, connect the 8mm connector from one panel into the input of the next, then run the final panel's cable to the power station. Chaining beyond 150W total requires an 8mm to HPP Combiner Cable.
- Keep connected power stations and banks protected from rain, dust, and snow. The panel itself is weatherproof; the charging device is not.
