Goal Zero Alta 50 Portable Refrigerator and Freezer

The Goal Zero Alta 50 is a 52.6 L electric refrigerator and freezer with an aluminum exterior and stainless steel construction, designed for vehicle-based camping, overlanding, and extended off-grid use. It accepts power from a 12/24V DC source, a vehicle's 12V auxiliary port, or a standard 100/240V AC wall outlet, and pairs directly with Goal Zero Yeti power stations. Temperature is adjustable from -4° F to 68° F (-20° to 20° C), allowing use as either a refrigerator or a freezer. An insulated cover is included.

Care and use

• Pre-cool the unit before loading food: it can drop from 75° F to 35° F in under 30 minutes.
• Load the unit into your vehicle before adding food and beverages to reduce lifting weight.
• The unit operates on a flat surface and will continue to function when tilted up to 45 degrees.
• Adding a solar panel to keep a connected power station charged allows indefinite off-grid runtime.
