sea-to-summit-telos-bigfoot-footprint
Sea to Summit Telos Bigfoot Footprint

The Sea to Summit Telos Bigfoot Footprint is a waterproof groundsheet that protects both the tub floor and the vestibule of Telos tents from abrasion, moisture, and dirt. Made from 68-denier 100% polyester with a 1200mm hydrostatic head rating, the Bigfoot Footprint is available in two sizes: TR2, sized for the two-person Telos, and TR3, sized for the three-person Telos.

Full-Coverage Protection Where It Counts

The Bigfoot Footprint extends beyond the tent floor to cover the vestibule as well, shielding the area where gear is stored from ground moisture and abrasion. On wet or rocky terrain, a vestibule that sits directly on bare ground can allow water to wick in or sharp edges to wear through the fabric over time. The Bigfoot Footprint intercepts that contact, keeping the tent floor and vestibule fabric in better condition across seasons of use.

Dry Set-Up and Take-Down

The Bigfoot Footprint is sized and shaped to support Dry Set-up and Take-Down, a method that lets you pack the footprint, tent body, and fly together so the wet outer fly can be separated and dried without unpacking the whole system. The footprint also supports a Fly Only configuration, where the fly and footprint are pitched without the tent body for a lighter, faster shelter option on clear nights or ultralight trips.

Durable Construction, Secure Attachment

The 68-denier polyester fabric is abrasion-resistant and carries a 1200mm waterhead rating, meaning it resists ground moisture under typical camping conditions. The perimeter attachment points are made from Hypalon and are circular-bartacked for strength and flexibility, securing the footprint to the tent without shifting during setup or in wind. The footprint is sized to avoid water pooling at the edges, which reduces the risk of water channeling under the tent floor during rain. A lightweight storage pouch is included.

Features

68D waterproof fabric: 100% polyester with a 1200mm hydrostatic head rating resists ground moisture and abrasion

Vestibule coverage: extends beyond the tent floor to protect gear stored in the vestibule

Hypalon attachment points: circular-bartacked perimeter points are flexible, strong, and secure

Dry Set-up compatible: sized and shaped for Dry Set-up/Take-Down and Fly Only configurations

Edge sizing: shaped to avoid water pooling and dirt collection at the perimeter

Includes storage pouch: lightweight pouch included for packed storage and transport

Specifications

Specification

TR2

TR3

Material

100% Polyester, 68 denier

Hydrostatic Head

1200mm

Dimensions

222 × 266 cm (87 × 105 in)

235 × 349 cm (93 × 137 in)

Weight

382g (13.5 oz)

511g (18.0 oz)

Packed Size

20 × 16 × 4 cm (8 × 6 × 2 in)

20 × 16 × 4 cm (8 × 6 × 2 in)

Attachment Points

Hypalon, circular-bartacked perimeter

Included

Lightweight storage pouch

Compatible Tents

Telos TR2 (all models)

Telos TR3 (all models)

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Telos Bigfoot Footprint suits Telos tent owners who camp on rough, rocky, or wet ground and want protection for both the tent floor and the vestibule.
