Single-piece aluminum alloy uprights and grade 10.9 black Zn-Ni coated fasteners give the system an 800 lb on-road dynamic weight capacity and a 1,400 lb parked static weight capacity. The product FAQ states a load rating of 400 lbs on-road dynamic and 800 lbs parked static. The rack stands 23 inches tall measured from the top of the bed caps and is designed to work alongside compatible retractable tonneau covers, keeping the bed accessible while supporting a rooftop tent or gear carrier. Two SKUs cover the range of fitments: the 5'7" bed variant weighs 85 lb and the 6'4" bed variant weighs 91 lb. A compatible T-Slot Rail tonneau cover is required and sold separately.

Features

Fixed load bar: a rigid, permanent platform sized for a rooftop tent or gear carrier that stays on the rack.

Bolt-on assembly: fully bolt-on construction assembles in minutes with basic hand tools.

Quad-rail load beam: four-rail design accepts a wide range of accessories, including many Thule, Rhino-Rack, and Yakima items.

Custom fasteners: grade 10.9 black Zn-Ni coated bolts are precoated with Loctite to resist loosening under extreme vibration.

Rubber wind diffuser and load pad: reduces wind noise and keeps cargo from shifting.

Optional Gear Pods: locking, water-resistant storage pods follow the vehicle body lines and can be added to the system.

Specifications

Construction

Aluminum alloy uprights; zinc-plated and powder-coated steel brackets

Fasteners

Grade 10.9 black Zn-Ni coated, Loctite precoated

Load bars

Heavy-duty 2.0" square

Height

23" from top of bed caps

On-road dynamic weight capacity

800 lb

Parked static weight capacity

1,400 lb

Origin

Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA

Patents: U.S. Patent 9586629.

Variant weights

Bed size

Weight

5'7"

85 lb

6'4"

91 lb

Compatible tonneau covers

The ACS Forged Tonneau works with the following retractable covers: Retrax Pro XR (manual or electric), Retrax EQ, Retrax One XR (manual or electric), Pace Edwards Explorer Series Rails, and Pace Edwards UltraGroove.
