bulletproof-hitches-heavy-duty-single-tang-clevis-with-1-inch-pin
BulletProof Hitches Heavy Duty Single Tang Clevis with 1-Inch Pin

The BulletProof Hitches Heavy Duty Single Tang Clevis is a solid-steel towing attachment designed to connect a farm-style drawbar to any BulletProof Medium, Heavy, or Extreme Duty hitch, with a 22,000-pound tow rating. It ships with a 1-inch pin, two corrosion-resistant pins, and R-clips ready to install.

Farm-Drawbar Connection Without Compromise

A standard ball mount cannot engage a farm-style drawbar. The single-tang clevis design exists specifically to bridge that gap. The 1-inch pin seats through the tang and the drawbar eye, creating a direct load path rather than a ball-and-socket connection. For buyers who regularly move tillage equipment, hay wagons, or other farm implements, that geometry matters: the tang-and-pin joint handles the fore-aft shock loads that agricultural towing generates.

Built to the Same Standard as the Hitch Itself

The clevis is machined from solid steel and finished in BulletProof's black textured powder coat, the same coating used on the hitch bodies it attaches to. Corrosion-resistant pins and R-clips are included, so the attachment is secured in the hitch channel without sourcing additional hardware. The 22,000-pound rating matches the load capacity of the Medium, Heavy, and Extreme Duty hitch lines this clevis is designed to work with.

Features

22,000-lb tow rating: rated capacity for agricultural and heavy-equipment towing.

Single-tang clevis design: connects directly to a farm-style drawbar via a 1-inch pin.

Solid steel construction: machined from solid steel with black textured powder coat finish.

Hardware included: ships with two corrosion-resistant pins and R-clips for hitch-channel installation.

Broad hitch compatibility: works with all BulletProof Medium, Heavy, and Extreme Duty hitches.

Specifications

Specification

Detail

Tow Rating

22,000 lb

Pin Diameter

1 inch

Material

Solid steel

Finish

Black textured powder coat

Hardware Included

2 corrosion-resistant pins, R-clips

Shipped Weight

11 lb

Hitch Compatibility

All BulletProof Medium, Heavy, and Extreme Duty hitches

SKU

SINGLETANG

Who This Is For and Isn't

The BulletProof Single Tang Clevis suits buyers who already own a BulletProof Medium, Heavy, or Extreme Duty hitch and need to tow farm-style drawbar equipment: tillage implements, hay wagons, or other agricultural equipment with a drawbar eye rather than a coupler.

This clevis does not replace a standard ball mount and is not designed for trailer couplers.
