For buyers who regularly tow at or near their truck's rated limit, that headroom matters: the hitch is not the weak link in the chain.

Eight Ride Heights, One Hitch

With 8 adjustable ride heights, a single hitch covers the drop or rise needed across different truck heights, load states, and trailer coupler heights. Buyers who tow different trailers or switch between rigs no longer need multiple fixed-drop shanks for each combination. The dual-ball head accepts both 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch couplers, and the included corrosion-resistant pins and R-clips secure the ball position without additional hardware purchases.

Tested Beyond the Standard

The HD3014 is tested to exceed SAE-J684 requirements, the industry standard governing ball mount strength, fatigue, and corrosion resistance. Exceeding rather than merely meeting that threshold gives a measurable margin of safety for buyers who tow frequently, on rough roads, or at high tongue weights where cumulative stress on the hitch shank is greatest.

Features

Class 5 rating: 22,000 lb max towing capacity and 3,000 lb tongue weight capacity

3.0-inch shank: fits Class 5 receivers

14-inch drop or rise: 8 selectable ride heights for tow vehicle and trailer leveling

Dual-ball head: accommodates 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch couplers

Hardware included: 2 corrosion-resistant pins and R-clips to secure the ball

SAE-J684 tested: exceeds the industry standard for ball mount strength and fatigue

BulletProof Hitches accessory compatible: works with the full BulletProof Hitches accessory line

Specifications

Specification

Value

SKU

HD3014

Shank diameter

3.0 in

Drop / rise

14 in

Ride height positions

8

Max towing capacity

22,000 lb

Tongue weight capacity

3,000 lb

Ball sizes included

2 in and 2-5/16 in (dual ball)

Hardware included

2 corrosion-resistant pins, R-clips

Testing standard

Exceeds SAE-J684

Shipping weight

66 lb

UPC

850007829353

WARNING: California Proposition 65.
